I am thankful for being raised in a home with a godly heritage where my parents taught me truth – some of my earliest memories are of being at church. The Lord began drawing me to Himself, and I knew that I was a sinner in need of a Savior at a young age. After I surrendered my life to the Lord, He has continued to show me my daily need to trust in Him.

I attended the University of Central Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Family Life Education – Child Development. The Lord used my college years to grow my heart for the nations during which I had the opportunity to go on several overseas mission trips. After graduation, I felt called to attend a discipleship training program in Denton, Texas – I spent a year immersed in the Word, being challenged and equipped for further ministry. Within two weeks of moving back to OKC, the Lord placed a job at HBC in my lap. I was hired as Missions Coordinator, but my role has evolved over the years. I have found myself involved with several other areas of ministry – one of which is Youth Associate for the student ministry.

I have a love of discipling others and raising up the next generation to know the Lord and walk in obedience. My hope is for hearts and lives to be transformed through the Gospel of Christ. Walking in gospel-centered community is worth it! We need one another. I continue to strive to walk in a manner worthy of the calling of God.
