Women’s Bible Studies

Let’s dig into God’s Word together!

Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm beginning September 4
Study on the book of Judges by Lydia Brownback
Herndon Hall, Room 420
The path from chaos to kingship.  The book of Judges has all the elements of a cinematic blockbuster film—murder, violence, lust, and adultery. Sadly, the people caught up in these events are the people of God—Israel. Disobedience and rebellion have driven them away from the Lord, but the Lord does not desert them. To the contrary, God pursues his wayward people to show them undeserved grace (book $6).

Thursdays 9:30-11:30am beginning September 5
Character Study on Joseph using the study book Finding God Faithful by Kelly Minter
Herndon Hall, Room 420
Trace the path of Joseph’s life in the book of Genesis to observe how God’s sovereignty reigns, even in our darkest moments. Learn to recognize when God is working during periods of waiting, trust God’s plan when life doesn’t make sense, and rest in the sufficiency of His presence in every circumstance. His provision is enough, His presence is constant, and His purpose is unstoppable (book $11).

Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm beginning September 5
Study on the book of Ephesians by Keri Folmar
House, Room 201
The main focus is helping the reader understand what the author was saying to the original readers, the starting point for all fruitful study of Scripture. We are guided in learning to study the Bible, to read God’s Word carefully, understand clearly, and apply prayerfully (book $5).

Sign up by August 28th to reserve your book!
