AWANA (3 yrs-4th grade)

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is an excellent ministry that focuses on memorizing verses and learning essential Bible Truths. Class schedule is divided into three key activities; Verse Time, Lesson Time, and Game Time. Our prayer is that every child comes to KNOW, LOVE, and SERVE the Lord Jesus Christ. AWANA is available during the school year, for children 3 years (as of September 1) through 4th grade. Childcare for nursery through 2 years old is provided for AWANA volunteers and those attending a Bible Study.

The Bridge (5th-6th grades)
Room 313

To help bridge the gap between elementary and teenage years, The Bridge class aims to equip children with study skills and habits to grow in knowing, understanding, and applying God’s Word. They are introduced to biblical essentials for living out their faith at home, in the church and throughout the world. As an introduction to missions, they are given opportunities to serve the church body throughout the year.

Students (7th-12th  grades)
Youth Room / Café

During the school year students gather on Wednesday nights for a time of worship, teaching and small group discussion. We typically walk through a book of the Bible chapter by chapter trusting that studying God’s Word is the most important thing we can do with our time. Gender specific and age specific small groups allow us to dig deeper and discuss the relevancy of the Word in our daily lives. Each small group consists of two adult leaders/shepherds that care for their flock. Wednesday nights also provide the students with a great opportunity to connect with one another.

God of Creation by Jen Wilkin
(Karen Cowan, Lisa McGee, & Cindy Cole)
Room 416

See How God Reveals Himself Through Scripture. It all began with the Word. The opening chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil—all through the power of His Word. Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse study, dive into Genesis 1-11 by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator. Contact Karen 405-751-2464.

4MEN
(Rocky Hails, Eric Schrock, Greg Rader & Dennis McGee)
Room 407

This fall, 4MEN will meet and zoom around discussion of the ten questions posed in Donald Whitney’s book Ten Questions to Diagnose Your Spiritual Health. Join this group of men who search the Scriptures, uphold each other in prayer, share applications, and look to Christ to empower our walk.
