Adventure Club (3 yrs-4th grade)
Adventure Club is an exciting children’s ministry program meeting during the school year that is focused on Bible memorization and teaching children the truth of God’s Word in a fun, meaningful way. Adventure Club exists to glorify God through evangelizing children, encouraging parents, and edifying servants so that the gospel may be spread among our children, families may be supported, and the church may be strengthened. While at Adventure Club, the kids will be taught systematic theology broken down for their specific age level.
The Bridge (5th-6th grades)
Room 313
The Bridge class is designed to bridge the Gap between Preteen and Teenage years. They are also utilizing the Adventure Club curriculum, which focuses on Bible memorization and teaching God’s Word in a fun and meaningful way. Adventure Club’s mission is to glorify God by evangelizing children, encouraging parents, and equipping volunteers, so the gospel spreads, families are supported, and the church is strengthened. Kids in the Bridge will also learn systematic theology tailored to their specific age group.
Students (7th-12th grades)
Youth Room / Café
During the school year 7th–12th students gather on Wednesday nights for a time of worship, teaching and small group discussion. We typically walk through a book of the Bible chapter-by-chapter trusting that studying God’s Word is the best use of our time. Gender-specific and age-specific small groups allow us to dig deeper and discuss how Scripture applies to our daily lives. Each small group is led by two adult leaders who shepherd and care for their students. Wednesday nights also offer a great opportunity for students to connect with one another. Every fourth or fifth week, we organize a fellowship/activity night, giving students and leaders extended time to build relationships.
Women’s Bible Study
From Chaos to Kingship
Herndon Hall, Room 420
The book of Judges has all the elements of a cinematic blockbuster film from murder and, violence to lust and adultery. Sadly, the people caught up in these events are the people of God—Israel. Disobedience and rebellion have driven them away from the Lord, but the Lord does not desert them. To the contrary, God pursues his wayward people to show them undeserved grace. We’ll use the book Judges: From Chaos to Kingship by Lydia Brownback to complement our weekly discussion.
Men’s Bible Study
Called to Lead
4MEN (Team of Teachers) Room 407
This study challenges worldly leadership disguised as Christian, focusing on 26 biblical traits of true leadership as seen through Paul’s life, like initiative, leading by example, and integrity. We’ll explore these through the book Called to Lead by John MacArthur.
Redeeming the Realities of Marriage (will resume October 2)
What Did You Expect?
Herndon Hall, Room 420
Unlike other classes that only diagnose horizontal problems, What Did You Expect? fights a much deeper war over the worship of our heart. Dr. Tripp’s video series will challenges us to look into the mirror of God’s word and see ourselves with clarity. It’s only when we worship God as Creator, Sovereign and Savior that we will ever love as we should. Contact Chip/Cindy at heymac333@gmail.com.
